Hello i m relatively new to revit and this forum and i hope i m doing this right. You can join roofs to other roofs or walls or unjoin them if they were previously joined. On the draw panel click pick walls. But i want it to end at the roof where i painted the red line.

My problem ist that when i make a section the outer wall goes into the roof. I have tried selecting and then using the detach icon and the detach walls in the properties is ticked but greyed out and won t allow any changes. Place the 3 walls in the plan view. On the properties palette set the top constraint for the walls to unconnected and specify a height of 4000.

Confused by revit roofs. The wall must be attached to the target roof and the target roof must be a footprint roof. Being able to detach the wall from the roof. You cannot join a roof to more than one top face of another roof.
