Assuming that you don t want your eaves jumping up and down i think you will need to start tweaking the roof slopes. Use the align eaves tool to realign eave heights of different boundary lines of a roof. If the roofs have different overhang dimensions you either have different slopes or different eave heights. Take a look in 3d to see what is really happening. Rather than adjusting the overhang i can adjust the height effectively the bearing height of that edge of the roof.

Click finish edit mode. Use it to extend the dormer roof to the main roof.
