During your inspection if you can visibly see any signs of fraying tears or damage it s time to get the carpet on you bunks replaced. When we replaced the liner on the trailer for our project boat we used boat blanket fabric as our liner material because of it s excellent chemical uv and mildew and mold resistance. If the carpet needs replaced it s an easy diy project that you can knock out in a day. Just remember the boat cannot be on the trailer while you replace the carpet so be sure you store your boat elsewhere or keep it in the water during this project.

You will want to use our trailer bunk carpet for this project because of its resistant to mold and mildew as well as having uv protection thereby increasing its longevity.
