Repel Carpet Beetles

You can use a few different essential oils to kill and repel carpet beetles from your home.

Make sure you spray enough of rubbing alcohol on bedding upholstery as well as furniture. Grown carpet beetles can survive both outdoors and indoors but the female beetles usually prefer laying their eggs in places where there is an abundance of larval food sources. They dislike the smell of alcohol and will not move to places sprayed with it.

Adult carpet beetles can feed on nectar and pollen outdoors. Case making clothes moth larva while moth balls crystals and cedar oil when properly used will kill clothes moths and carpet beetles they do not repel these pests.
